We are looking for a reliable Nurse , LPN or RN , to perform eligibility assessments for Access A Ride program applicants. You will work under the supervision of the project director.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CLINICAL POSITION; DIRECT PATIENT CARE OR TREATMENT IS NOT REQUIRED. THE ASSESSMENTS ARE HELD IN ACCESS A RIDE ASSESSMENT CENTER OFFICE NOT A MEDICAL FACILITY.

Responsibilities Review Access A Ride applicants’ medical documents.
Observe applicants’ ambulation and stair climbing ability and record gait and balance deficits.
Document observation and recommends applicants’ eligibility for Access A Ride services.

SkillS.Ability to undertake a variety of diverse tasks and work in a team.
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and knowledge of medical terminology.
Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Successful completion of LPN or RN license program , with an active NY state license and registration is required.

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
